Banksy wasn't here...

Banksy wasn't here..., originally uploaded by S.Vegas.

So with a crew of five we still managed to get busted by two cops, catching us with everything in our bags, Jerm's paste open next to the piece and my stencil drying against the fence... an then they decided to let us walk away.

Nerve wracking, crazy, very confusing, and totally worth it. Hope you like the shots, and appreciate the piece.

Cheers, Vegas.

V-TARP The Vancouver Transit Adspace Re-appropriation Project - Installation 25 - The Promo - Vegas & jerm IX

V-TARP is steadily picking up pace, with submissions heading in from T.WAT, The Dotmasters, The Dude Company, K-guy and ROA from over the pond, and a whole host from more local climes. It's going to be a busy month!

Jerm IX an his lovely wife Ninja got these up the other night.

Gas Child - Air Supply

Friday saw me riding up Fromme with Ian Hylands (if you're not familiar with his work, check it out) to install Gas Child on a trail called Air Supply. The ride turned into a four and a half hour epic, so I was pretty glad to have packed light, but a good shot of it's going to have to wait.

Thanks to Ian for the help, the cleat marks, and a great day on the shore.
